First Half of 2026: Building Toward Silent Power
As we close out the first half of 2026, we wanted to pause and share where Mobius Ventures Group has been, what we've learned, and where we're headed next. It's been a season of steady, deliberate progress — and we're grateful to have you following along.
Lightning Rod: Development Progress
Our flagship innovation, the Lightning Rod Silent Power System, is moving from concept into hardware. We've begun the board layout and power path design — the core electronics that route, manage, and protect power across the system. Our goal is to have this stage ready to begin testing by the end of Q3 2026.
This is foundational work, and we're taking the time to get it right. Every design decision is being made with reliability and field performance in mind.
Showcasing Our Work at Future Soldier Technology USA 2026
We're grateful to SAE Media Group for giving Mobius Ventures Group the opportunity to showcase our innovation at Future Soldier Technology USA 2026 in Virginia — and to the speakers, organizers, staff, and sponsors whose work made the event what it was.
The experience taught us a great deal about the customer we're building for — the dismounted soldier — and gave us a clearer understanding of the planning, precision, and countless details that go into their missions. Some of the most valuable moments came from conversations with fellow attendees who took the time to share their perspective and offer honest guidance. A few in particular went out of their way to help us see our work through new eyes, and we're better for it. Exchanges like these sharpen our focus and make what we build stronger.
A special thank-you as well to the entire team at Gruntworks for the incredible work they do every day — and to the many businesses and partners who have supported us along the way. We don't take your generosity for granted.
Closing the Half: Army xTech|Inversion
We ended the first half of the year by submitting a white paper to the Army's xTech|Inversion competition, part of the Army FUZE xTech Program. It's a meaningful step toward putting our technology in front of the people who could one day put it to use.
We'll share our results here as soon as we have an update — so be sure to check back.
A Note on Our Website & What's Next
We're bringing everything together under one roof at mobiusvg.com. The Lightning Rod Silent Power System will eventually live right here on our site — but for now, selecting it will redirect you to its dedicated website, lightningrodsps.com. Please be patient with us during this transitional period as we bring everything into one home.
To do this right, we've made a deliberate decision: our other projects have been placed on hold and will resume at a later date. For now, our team is focused entirely on the development of the Lightning Rod Silent Power System — and we're excited about what that focus will make possible.

2025 Mobiusvg Completes NSF I-Corps Regional Program
Mobius Ventures Group recently completed the NSF Innovation Corps Regional Program, conducting over twenty stakeholder interviews to validate our hybrid manufacturing technology across commercial and defense markets. The insights from this program are directly shaping our product development and go-to-market strategy.
Intellectual Property Assessed for Viability
Mobiusvg's core nozzle head technology has been independently assessed for intellectual property viability. We are actively pursuing patent protection as we continue to advance our designs and refine our hybrid manufacturing system.
